The Odawara Hakone Systematized Goodwill Guide Club (OHSGG) was established in Odawara City, Kanagawa Prefecture in September 1996 and has 92 members as of January 2021. OHSGG is also an official organization of the Japan National Tourism Organization (JNTO), and is one of 91 SGG groups in Japan (as of January 2021). Our goal is to help foreign visitors to Odawara, Hakone, and the area enjoy their visit and stay in Japan with peace of mind by providing local guides and travel assistance in English and other foreign languages as volunteers. Their guides and itineraries can be arranged through e-mail to provide you with personalized experiences. The Odawara and Hakone areas are located in the western part of Kanagawa Prefecture and are blessed with scenic natural beauty as well as Japanese culture and historical attractions. In order for foreigners to enjoy these areas, the members are always striving to improve themselves and contribute to grassroots international friendship and exchange with hospitality.

The OHSGG holds monthly meetings and irregular training sessions to deepen mutual exchange among members. If you live in the suburbs and are interested in their activities, if you are interested in becoming an English volunteer, if you are interested in becoming an English guide, if you are interested in speaking English with foreigners, if you are interested in international exchange and friendship, if you are interested in the history and culture of Odawara and Hakone, or if you are interested in participating in any of our other activities, please feel free to come and observe our meetings.
