See & DoSengokuhara, the Highlands of Hakone

Sengokuhara is the large highland valley near Lake Ashi. This area is famous for museums, resorts, golfing, and access to the Mt. Fuji area.

Some of Hakone`s best outdoor activities can be found in the area. The highlands of Sengokuhara run along the base of the peaking mountains of Hakone. A short bus ride through the mountain tunnel takes you to Gotemba and the base of Mt. Fuji.
