The Anest Iwata Sky Lounge sits at the top of Mt. Taikan at the end of the Anest Iwata Turnpike. The Sky Lounge is a place to look down on Lake Ashi with Mt. Fuji to the west from Mt. Daikan Observation Deck or enjoy the views of Sagami Bay and the islands to the east. There is a commanding 360 degree view of the area from here. The Sky Lounge also includes a casual dining hall to enjoy a meal or drinks while looking out over Hakone. The dining options include soba or udon noodles, ramen, or something from the tea lounge and cafe.

The Sky Lounge is popular with weekend motorists and bikers who drive the scenic and challenging roads of the area.
