Venetian Glass Museum

The first art museum specializing in Venetian glasses in Japan, located at Sengokuhara, the northern part of the Hakone caldera surrounded by full of lush greenery.

This museum showcases Venetian glass art from the 15th to 18th Centuries. There are also areas dedicated to the new techniques and pieces of modern glass art. Enjoy walking through the gardens surrounded by glass sculptures and dancing light. The art museum also has restaurants and shops for you to explore and taste.

Access

By Train and Bus Get off at Odawara Station (JR Line, Odakyu Line, etc) or Hakone Yumoto Station (Odakyu Line).
Take the Hakone Tozan Bus bound for "Togendai", and get off at "Hyoseki/Hakone Garasu-no-Mori-Mae (Hakone Venetian Glass Museum)".
By Car Take Tomei Expressway and get off at Gotenba Exit, and then take the National Route 138 to "Sengoku-hara" (approximately 20 minutes).
We are located along the National Route 138.
Museum shop is one of the top Japanese specialty shops in glass, that offers Venetian (Murano) glass as well as glass collections world wide.
We could invite International travelers for tax-free shopping at our museum shop which is an authorized “Japan Tax-Free Shop”.
