Zen is a hot spring inn located in the Sengokuhara highlands of Hakone for adults. The inn has Fuji side rooms with semi-open-air baths and on clear days you can enjoy a spectacular view of Mt. Fuji from some rooms. All guest rooms are equipped with a half open-air bath. The half-open-air baths in all guest rooms are sourced with milky natural hot spring water from Owakudani. The water is known as Bijin-no-yu, “water for beautiful women.”

 

For dinner, we offer a course meal using local ingredients. The specially selected wagyu beef is particularly exquisite. The beef is rare and valuable and is prepared to give you the best culinary experience. You can also enjoy seasonal fish caught in Sagami Bay and Suruga Bay, as well as vegetables from the western foot of Hakone and the local area.

 

A free shuttle service is available from Ubako Station on the Hakone Ropeway, the Hakone Tozan “Palace Hotel-mae” bus stop, or the Izu-Hakone “Ubako” bus stop.
