Hakone-en

In addition to restaurants and shopping, the Hakone-en Park features the Hakone-en Aquarium, where you can enjoy fish from around the world, and the Komagatake Ropeway with runs 1,783 meters one way in 7 minutes.

From the peak of Mt. Komagatake, all of Hakone spreads before you like a miniature, with Lake Ashinoko at your feet. The broad panorama spreads all the way to the majestic Mt. Fuji, Suruga Bay, the seven Izu Islands, Shonan Beach, and Boso Peninsula. You can also reach or leave Hanoke-en with Hakone Ashinoko (Lake Ashi) Boat Cruise on Lake Ashinoko, so you can enjoy a condensed experience of Hakone.

Hakone Kojiri Terminal

This is a terminal to the north of Lake Ashi.
There are souvenir stores and restaurants inside of this terminal.

Hakone Art Museum

Okada Mokichi, the founder of the museum, initially purchased a villa here in Gora that belonged to the twentieth-century tycoon Fujiyama Raita in 1944. He then gradually acquired adjacent lots to form what is today the Shinsenkyō garden.

The attached gardens offer the opportunity to enjoy changing views through seasons; the moss garden with maples, the rock garden Sekiraku-en (partially open), and the Japanese bush clover along the Hagi-no-michi path.

Hakone Yumoto Daymyo Gyoretsu Parade

You may hear the samurai voice “Shitani, Shitani”, which means “Heads Down, Heads Down” because the Daymyo, one of the warload is coming, at Hakone Yumoto November 3rd event

Ryuguden (Ryokan)

"Ryuguden is a ryokan(a traditional Japanese inn with tatami-mat rooms) with over 70 years of history, which is located on the shore of Lake Ashi in Hakone. On clear days, the view of Lake Ashi and Mt. Fuji is truly breathtaking.

The ryokan has 117m2 conference room, a typical Japanese style banquet room with tatami mats, onsen hot spring, and karaoke room. Enjoy your relaxing stay at rooms with lake view or at rooms with private hot spring bath."
